The Handle Consultancy has a particular specialism in leadership development, leadership training and consultancy for the Corporate & SME sectors. The business was established in 2005 by Vaughan Roberts in direct response to a growing demand for high quality training support for business leaders, owners and directors.

Vaughan is an inspirational training consultant with a proven ability to deliver excellent results by generating self-belief as well as creative, lateral thinking and a positive "can do" attitude in others. High impact training workshops and programmes are available for directors, senior and junior management levels covering a wide range of leadership, management development and "soft skills" areas.

Vaughan is an Adair Accredited Trainer and is therefore fully licensed to deliver Adair Accredited Training programmes including a range of 1, 2 & 3 days workshops in Leadership Development and Action-Centred Leadership (ACL).

Workshops and training programmes using Adair's world renowned Action-Centred Leadership model can be delivered in the UK and international locations.

In particular, Vaughan excels at motivating individuals and teams across all organisational levels to achieve maximum confidence, motivation and commitment to your organisational objectives.

His business experience spans over 30 years, including senior manager and director level positions with large UK manufacturing companies, high volume national retailers and the SME sector. His previous roles include senior management and director level positions with B&Q Warehouse, BPB British Gypsum, BPB Gyproc Tools Division and Artex-BlueHawk.

In addition to working with private sector clients, Vaughan has also worked with clients in the public sector. He is a Business Mentor with Nottinghamshire Business Venture and is a member of the East Midlands Business Champions team. He has delivered intensive business support to disadvantaged clients from the BME community as part of his role as a business adviser on the New Entrepreneur Scholarship programme.

He has also worked closely with Business Link East Midlands and Derbyshire Enterprise Agency to deliver business support to start-up businesses within Derbyshire.
